Step-by-step instructions for determining the speed

1️⃣ Select the recommended centrifugal force (RCF, also known as "g-force").

  • For PRP, an RCF between 1200 g and 1500 g is usually recommended.

2️⃣ Determine the rotor radius of your centrifuge.

  • The rotor radius is the distance from the center of the centrifuge to the tube holder.
  • You will find this information in the operating instructions or you can measure it directly.

3️⃣ Use our online calculator.

4️⃣ Set the calculated speed on your centrifuge.
