How is PRP cream made?
› Collect blood into a PRP tube.
› Perform a centrifugation according to the prescribed modes.
› Inject the required amount of plasma into the serum using a 5 ml syringe.
› Mix components with the spatula provided until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
› Prepare the serum in the presence of the patient.
› Explain to the patient about the use of the serum and the special storage conditions (in the refrigerator, for a maximum of 2 weeks).
How much PRP can be mixed into the cream?
All the plasma in a PRP tube is mixed into the cream. About 3 - 5 ml.
Does the serum need to be stored in the refrigerator (without PRP)?
No, for the cream alone it is enough to store it in a dry, dark and cool place. So not on the window sill, heater or bathtub rim. This is because fluctuating temperatures and sunlight damage the sensitive ingredients.
If I use PRP with cream, does it have to be stored in the refrigerator?
Yes, in order to maintain the stability of PDGF (Platelet Derived Growth Factor), it must be stored in a cool place, preferably in the refrigerator.
Is there an expiration date for use after the cream has been mixed with PRP?
If you mix the cream with PRP, it is recommended to use it once in the morning and once in the evening. Usually, it is used up after only two weeks. According to a study, stability for PRP in a preservative serum was also achieved after 90 days by cooling it to 4 degrees Celsisu.
Is it possible to use a conventional cosmetic serum is for use with PRP?
