Understand gauge in 20 seconds
Gauge (G) describes the size class of a cannula. The scale runs in reverse: the higher the gauge number, the smaller the outside diameter. Needle length is stated separately in millimetres.

Cannula size designation. For the sizes shown here: higher gauge number = smaller outside diameter.
Outside diameter+
External diameter of the metal cannula in millimetres.
Lengths+
Cannula length in millimetres; gauge and length are independent.
Cannula+
Metal hollow part of the needle; KIPIC uses medical-grade 304 stainless steel.
Bevel+
Angled shape at the tip of the cannula.
Luer-Lock+
Threaded Luer connection between the needle and a compatible syringe.
EO / ETO+
Ethylene oxide; KIPIC needles are supplied EO sterilised.
REF & pack size+
REF is the product reference. Pack size here is 100 pieces.
