Why this size?

The 33G × 13 mm version combines an outer diameter of 0.20 mm with a needle length of 13 mm. Compared with 32G × 13 mm, its outer diameter is 0.03 mm smaller; compared with 33G × 8 mm, the diameter is identical while the needle is 5 mm longer. Before use, these dimensions must be checked against the preparation, target area and intended injection technique.

The choice of gauge, length and injection technique depends on the intended purpose, preparation used, anatomical target area, instructions for use, manufacturer’s labelling and the professional assessment of qualified healthcare personnel.
