What makes Jalupro Glow Peel distinctive?

The packaging describes Glow Peel for the cosmetic treatment of visible signs of chronological and photo-induced skin ageing.

The formulation combines several acid components with amino acids and other cosmetic ingredients.

Its focus is the skin surface; Glow Peel is not an injectable Jalupro product.

02

Acid complex and amino acids

According to the current packaging, Jalupro Glow Peel contains several different acid components:

Sodium Trichloroacetate

listed first in the INCI list.

Tartaric Acid

organic acid in the formulation.

Lactobionic Acid

polyhydroxy acid in the formulation.

Ferulic Acid

listed in the current INCI.

Kojic Acid

listed in the current INCI.

Citric Acid

another organic acid in the formulation.

The packaging does not state the concentrations of the individual acids or the pH value. These values should therefore not be inferred from other products or general peel protocols.

03

Amino acid complex

Glow Peel also contains several amino acids:

  • Arginine
  • Aminobutyric Acid
  • Glycine
  • Proline
  • Alanine
  • Lysine Hydrochloride
  • Valine

These amino acids are part of a topical cosmetic formulation. Glow Peel should therefore not be equated with injectable Jalupro products.

04

Other ingredients

The INCI list also includes:

  • Glycerin
  • Propylene Glycol
  • Butylene Glycol
  • Polyquaternium-10

Jalupro Glow Peel is therefore not simply a blend of peeling acids, but a more complex cosmetic formulation.

05

Which areas is Glow Peel intended for?

FaceNeckDécolletéHandsBody

These areas are explicitly stated on the product packaging. Skin response may vary depending on skin condition, product quantity, contact time and the professional protocol used.

06

manufacturer protocol for a total of 4 applications

  2. Use nitrile gloves. Withdraw the required amount from the vial using a syringe with an 18G needle.
  3. Place a few drops on the treatment area and massage with firm but gentle pressure until the skin feels slightly sticky.
  4. Leave on for 3–10 minutes depending on skin sensitivity and professional assessment. Monitor the skin during the application.
  5. If tingling or burning occurs, remove Glow Peel with damp gauze. Do not use dripping-wet gauze to avoid liquid running into the eyes or mouth.
  6. Immediately after removal, the manufacturer recommends applying Jalupro Recovery Cream to help restore normal skin pH.
07

Areas of use stated by the manufacturer

In addition to chrono- and photo-ageing, the leaflet states that Glow Peel may be used as an adjunct in the cosmetic management of:

08

Possible temporary skin reactions

  • mild skin redness
  • light exfoliation for a few days
  • tingling or burning during application

According to the manufacturer, direct sunlight should be avoided for 48 hours after treatment; sunscreen may be used where appropriate.

Safety and warning information

  • Protect the eyes of both the treated person and practitioner.
  • For professional cosmetic use only.
  • For external use only.
  • Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and nails. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Do not use expired product.
11

Jalupro Glow Peel is not an injectable

The original packaging clearly states “EXTERNAL USE / USO ESTERNO”. Glow Peel is intended for external use only and must not be injected.

12

Pack contents

  • 6 glass vials × 5 ml
  • Total content: 30 ml
13

Storage at 2–14 °C

  • store at 2–14 °C
  • do not expose to light sources
  • protect from heat sources

The “2–14°” wording refers to the required storage temperature – not to acid concentration, peel strength or pH. The packaging also displays a 3M symbol for the period after opening.

According to the manufacturer, prolonged storage at higher temperatures may cause oxidation and reduce product effectiveness.

Jalupro – aesthetic product concepts focused on amino acids and skin quality

Jalupro is a brand of Swiss company Professional Derma SA. Depending on the product, the portfolio combines amino acids with hyaluronic acid, peptides or cosmetic ingredients and includes injectables, skincare, products used around aesthetic procedures, supplements and professional peels.

01

About the Jalupro brand

According to the manufacturer, the story of Jalupro began with the research of Italian physician Prof. Dr. Franco Conti into the role of amino acids in the human body, particularly in relation to collagen. This approach led to the creation of the Jalupro brand in 2004. Today, the brand is managed by Professional Derma SA, based in Lugano, Switzerland.

A recurring idea behind Jalupro is the use of selected amino acids as building blocks of collagen in different product concepts. The brand is not limited to one product category: its current portfolio ranges from injectable products and cosmetic skincare to peels and nutritional supplements.

02

Amino acids as a recurring brand concept

Glycine, proline and lysine are among the amino acids that are structurally relevant to collagen. Jalupro incorporates this biological relationship into several product lines. Depending on the formulation, hyaluronic acid, peptides or other ingredients may also be included.

The individual product categories must be considered separately: composition, intended purpose, method of use and regulatory status can differ substantially. The information and instructions supplied with each individual product should therefore always be reviewed.

A broad portfolio for professional aesthetics

Jalupro covers several areas found in modern aesthetic practice. This makes it possible to find different product categories under one brand without treating them as identical in terms of regulation or use.

Instructions on use, intended users, contraindications and professional administration, where applicable, are always determined by the labelling and instructions for the individual product.
