All courses in English. The seminars are very comprehensive and show the entire process step by step clearly with many practical exercises.

General information about HAIR MICROPIGMENTATION

What is scalp micropigmentation and how is it done?

Hair loss on the head or alopecia, also called baldness, can cause a person to feel mentally uncomfortable. The problem is that alopecia is almost incurable, which means that once the alopecia has started it is almost impossible to stop. Uncomfortable to face this phenomenon at a young age. And although in the cinema and on TV the image of bald and brutal men is carefully cultivated, not everyone is prepared for such changes in their appearance.

The situation becomes even more difficult when women start to lose their hair. A new cosmetic procedure for hair micropigmentation or tricopigmentation can help. Its essence is the punctual implantation of the pigment in the upper layers of the scalp with a very fine needle. This is not a treatment, of course, but a kind of masking the areas that have lost hair, but the masking is very effective. The pigment is injected with a special machine, the master literally "creates" each hair on the skin by hand. This allows you to achieve visually thicker hair when your own hair is thinning, or the effect of a shaved head where there is no vegetation at all.In addition, with the help of micropigmentation, it is possible to correct the line of hair growth, hide the scars on the head. Very often this procedure is used after a hair transplant or a circular face lift.

Sometimes micropigmentation is confused with tattoos, and some tattoo studios even include it in their list of procedures. Unfortunately, the masters in such salons often do not know the technique of tricopigmentation and, in addition, perform the procedure with conventional machines and tattoo pigments, which are designed for dry skin are designed. The scalp has a lot of sweat and sebum glands, under the influence of which the pigment turns red or blue, and the image merges into large spots or loses bright contours.

Another difference is that in the tattoo the pigment It goes much deeper into the skin, about at the level of the hair follicle, which ensures more stable retention of the pigment, but can lead to the destruction of the hair follicle. Also, if there is a change in the color of the pigment, it will be very difficult to remove this pattern accurately due to its durability, the micropigmentation is different from the tattoo and the diameter of the tips, in the case of tattoos, they are a larger diameter. This gives the effect of "granularity" and the end result looks much less natural. A little closer to the technology of microblading eyebrow micropigmentation, in which the image on the skin is also applied manually by the master with a special spatula or pencil.

Difference between the two technologies in the composition of the pigments and in the device with which the process is carried out. The trichodermography device was specially developed for the micropigmentation of the scalp with all its peculiarities.

The advantages of micropigmentation

First of all, micropigmentation is low-risk, the procedure is minimally invasive, the pigment is applied only to a depth of 1.5 mm, so the risk of infection is practically zero.

The result is literally visible immediately after treatment, it lasts for several years, moreover, the image can be created taking into account all the wishes of the customer.

There is always the possibility to correct the result: change the tone and density of the color. Intensification of the color, etc.

As for the disadvantages, there are practically none in micropigmentation. Perhaps the only disadvantage is that it is not suitable for blondes, redheads and people with more than 40% gray hair.

There are some contraindications for the micropigmentation procedure, including diabetes, various dermatitis, chemotherapy for cancer, herpes in acute stage, pregnancy and postoperative phases. Tricopigmentation is also not allowed in cases of inflammation. Scalp, allergic rash or sunburn.

Stages of trichopigmentation hair - Preparation

Micropigmentation begins with a consultation with a trichologist. Allergy tests are mandatory, although the natural pigments used to introduce it into the scalp rarely cause allergic reactions. At the same time, the master, together with the client, develops a sketch showing the thickness of the hair is. should appear where the growth line is and the transitions from one area to another.

In general, nine areas of this type are distinguished for the procedure: two temporal, two lateral, three frontoparietal and two occipital.

The choice of pigment It is also made together with the customer, so that he has the opportunity to choose the most suitable tone. The day before micropigmentation, blood thinners, smoking, alcohol and coffee should not be taken.

Perform micropigmentation

As already mentioned, a special device is used for this, a trichodermograph that looks like a classic tattoo machine and thin sterile disposable needles with a diameter of 0.1 mm.

The tri-pigment does not spread under the skin and ensures the lightest possible spots that match the color of the customer's hair roots. The procedure itself can be carried out using two different techniques: The dotting technique reproduces microscopic dots on the scalp that are arranged chaotically to avoid "artificiality". They create the appearance of slightly overgrown hair after shaving. This technique is generally used when working with male clients. The linear technique helps create the effect of the hair in scarring, focal and diffuse alopecia. The lines become very thin and of uniform color.

Women can use these techniques to achieve the achieve the most natural effect. The process of micropigmentation of hair itself takes quite a long time, usually the master divides it into several stages. During the first session, most of the work is done, which on average can take several hours, from two to four hours. Thereafter, several further meetings are held at weekly intervals.Their number depends on the degree of alopecia, but usually the client receives the result after 34 weeks.

One of the advantages of micropigmentation is that it is painless as there are not many nerve endings in the scalp, the patient's sensations can be compared to those of acupuncture, so anesthesia is not required in most cases. Pain, before the procedure, the specialist will apply anesthetic cream to the treated area.

Care after the procedure

Immediately after the end of the procedure, redness appears on the scalp, the client may experience slight discomfort that goes away fairly quickly. The "pulled" hair color usually appears lighter and darker in the first few days. There is no need to panic, this is a natural effect. After a few days, usually 3-5 days, the scalp will begin to peel and the pigment color will change to the desired shade. The skin heals completely in about one to two weeks after the procedure.

There are some simple rules for skin care after micropigmentation, if you follow them, healing can occur faster and the pigment can last longer. You should not get your head wet during the healing process. When the skin fully recovers, the restrictions on washing disappear, the pigment is not affected by the water, in a month after the procedure, you should not go to the sauna, bath or swimming pool with chlorinated water, do not use cosmetics with abrasive particles, scrubs and the like, to expedite exfoliation of the skin.

Exposure to ultraviolet rays of the pigment. By the way, this applies not only to the postoperative period, so in the summer you need to use special sprays or creams with a protection factor of at least 30 SPF.

Three months after the micropigmentation, it is recommended to visit the trichologist who will correct the result if necessary. The effect the procedure lasts 35 years.

By the way, tricopigmentation can be carried out at the same time as alopecia therapy.Micropigmentation is carried out manually and requires the highest qualifications of the specialist, which means that this procedure cannot be cheap, but we must not forget that the effect is long-lasting and, as a rule, the result is worth the money.

The price of tricopigmentation depends on the level of the clinic, the instruments and pigments used, and the amount of work. The costs for each case are calculated separately. There are two ways to calculate it. Most tricopigmentation clinics calculate the final cost based on micropigmentation, unfortunately it cannot replace lost hair or stimulate new hair growth, but it is a fairly effective cosmetic tool and a worthy alternative to wigs that went out of style long ago. The hair is so natural that even the client's friends and family cannot tell where their real hair is and where the three-pigmented areas are.

Can I use micropigmentation instead of hair transplant surgery?

A hair transplant is a surgical procedure that involves removing hair follicles from the back of the scalp, the donor area, and implanting them in the bald area (the implant area).

After a few months, the transplanted hair begins to grow and the hair covers the gaps. The main condition for this surgery is the presence of a large donor area with a sufficient number of follicles, in some cases there may not be enough hair follicles in the donor area to perform a transplant according to others Should seek solutions such as the use of synthetic hair or hair extensions, since hair problems can cause psychological problems, the micropigmentation technique can be a good alternative in these situations for patients who cannot undergo a hair transplant.

When is micro pigmentation recommended?

We recommend the micro pigmentation  technique in these cases:

- if there are not enough hair follicles in the donor area or

- if the patient suffers total hair loss,

- if the donor area has a low hair growth rate and we cannot select transplants or

- if the patient is very bald Early hair loss

In these cases we cannot do a transplant due to early hair loss.

Micropigmentation of the scalp to mask scars

With the MPG technique we can hide scars from previous operations, for example when using the FUT method for hair transplantation. After the first hair transplant: Sometimes the hair transplants we take from the donor area are not enough, so we need a second treatment option to visually increase the hair density. We combine the surgical method of hair transplantation with MPG. For alopecia patients: Micropigmentation is a great way to mask areas of the scalp where hair has fallen out as a result of the disease.

Hair transplantation or scalp micropigmentation: which to choose?

Hair transplants are great when you have lots of viable hair follicles in the donor area. However, in this case, some problems can also arise. On the other hand, MPG is considered a very effective method to mask hair loss. In the above cases, keep in mind that this technique will not really get your hair back while a hair transplant will give you the real hair that you have probably dreamed of.

Whether or not you want stylish hair is the question!

The main question the answer to which will help you decide which method is best for you is whether or not you want stylish hair. If you prefer a beautiful and natural look, hair transplant is the best option, but its effectiveness. It depends on the characteristics of the donor area. However, if the patient has complete or almost complete baldness, we prefer not to do a hair transplant that is combable and the micropigmentation of the scalp is just a layer of ink that cannot be altered like real hair.

What risks can accompany a micropigmentation procedure?

In fact, MPG is a very safe method and no serious side effects have been reported by experts. In addition, this method does not harm the hair follicles because the color pigments are in the first layer of the skin, while the follicles are much deeper in the scalp.
