Lifting serum for revitalization, correction of skin tone and an impressive glow effect.

Give tired, dull skin the absolute kick! DERMIDA ® Glow Booster is a revitalizing and pharmaceutically pure serum to prepare the skin for the BB Glow treatment or to create the popular glow effect through microneedling.

A combination of hyaluron, bio-silicone and DMAE active ingredients corrects different skin tones, gives the skin the ideal resistance, elasticity and firmness and conjures up a healthy and vital glow on the face. For this purpose, a dermapen or dermaroller is used directly on the skin during the treatment.

One ampoule contains 10 ml of serum, which is enough for 3 to 5 applications. Each ampoule comes with a syringe and needle for sterile dispensing.

Areas of application of the Glow Booster Microneedling Serum:

BB Glow: The DERMIDA ® Glow Booster works ideally as a PreBB Glow Serum before the actual foundation. To do this, work in the Glow Booster with approx. 0.5 mm and a 36 mm needle. The skin is intensively moisturized, different skin tones are corrected and the skin is optimally adapted to the prepared BB Glow Base. For best results.

Microneedling: The serum lets your skin glow youthfully and radiantly. Differences in skin tone, melasma, pigment spots and hyperpigmentation of various origins can also be successfully treated as part of the microneedle treatment. Hyaluronic acid, organic silicon and DMAE also enable a targeted lifting effect.

Glow Booster Microneedling Serum - Well thought out down to the smallest detail!

The Glow Booster Serum comes in a smooth and gentle amber jar to protect the sensitive contents from UV rays. Each serum was designed as an injection container, and the rubber stopper also has an outer aluminum foil seal. A special rubber is used here, which expands after the cannula has been pierced and automatically closes again completely after being pulled out.

To ensure the maximum effectiveness of all active ingredients, the serum is supplied in a light-protected amber glass, it should be protected from direct sunlight and stored at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C.

application tips

glow booster

1. Use the Glow Booster Serum after cleaning and disinfecting the skin area to be treated. Sterile serums are applied before the actual needling in order to inject the highly concentrated active ingredients directly with the derma roller or needling pen.

2. First carefully remove the white cap from the vial.

3. Remove the microneedling serum with the fine dosing syringe provided. Attach the needle to the syringe and remove the protective cap. Be careful not to touch the needle with your fingers to avoid contamination.

4. Use the collection syringe to pierce the gray septum and withdraw the syringe containing the desired amount of serum.

5. The cannula is easy to detach to safely spread the serum on the skin. You can then process the serum with a needling device of your choice. The serum now also serves as a lubricating film and makes the treatment process more pleasant.

FAQ

What is the effect of a Microneedle Serum?

The essential added value of microneedle therapy as a non-ablative and minimally invasive cosmetic procedure is the low-risk, inexpensive and at the same time highly efficient treatment of aesthetic skin problems.

Example: Our skin acts as a natural protective layer as a barrier, which creates a problem for creams or ointments. It is not only the largest human organ, but also protects us from external chemical, mechanical and thermal influences in terms of function and structure. However, it makes no significant difference between beneficial active ingredients and harmful influences.

Conventional creams and serums try to reach / penetrate this barrier with so-called penetrators. With rather moderate success. The Microneedle Serum, on the other hand, has “free rein”, so to speak, since the skin channels (and thus the protective layer) open during the treatment. A large number of studies have now proven the increased effectiveness of serums in combination with microneedling treatment. Thanks to specially coordinated ingredients, serums can specifically address problem areas. A pleasant side effect is the lubricating film that the often viscous serums form, which acts as a refreshing protective film between the microneedle device and the skin.

Which serum should you use for the treatment?

In general, a distinction must be made between sterile sera and post-treatment sera. During the treatment, sterile serums are applied transdermally to the skin with the needling pen or derma roller. After-care serums are used after application and applied to the appropriate areas of the skin.

What does transdermal, topical or sterile mean?

By Microneedle Serum we mean a sterile formulation of active ingredients that has been specially developed to act topically and transdermally directly on the skin during treatment with Dermapen or Dermaroller.

Topical means that the active ingredient is only applied to the exact spot.

Transdermal means that the active ingredient is absorbed directly through the skin and takes effect.

Sterile means that it is free of reproductive germs such as microorganisms and viruses. Serum is only sterile under strictly controlled, documented and certified pharmaceutically pure manufacturing conditions.

Work in with Dermaroller or Dermapen Serum?

For the application and effectiveness of sterile serums, it is irrelevant whether you process the serum with a Dermaroller or Dermapen, both devices are equally suitable for transdermal application.

How are sterile sera used?

Distribute the serum on the cleaned, disinfected skin area, then apply with Dermapen or Dermaroller.

How do you remove the serum from the ampoule?

There are currently two types of sterile sera for microneedling:

1. Fractured ampoules

2. Pierced Ampules

Fractured ampoules have a predetermined breaking point that must be opened (ie broken) for removal. This is a non-closable connection, which means the serum must be used up during one application.

Pierceable ampoules, on the other hand, are designed as injection containers. These reusable vials are sealed with a rubber stopper with a puncture-resistant rubber (septum). There is also an external closure to protect the septum and to fix the rubber stopper.

We use a special rubber that automatically and completely closes after the cannula has been pierced. As a result, the serum is sealed sterile again, uncontaminated and can be used for up to 2 years. It's like he never opened the serum. The syringe is pushed through the septum and extracted with the serum. The additional cannula can then be removed and the serum safely distributed over the affected area of skin.

What should be considered when storing the serum?

In order to ensure the maximum effectiveness of all active ingredients, most serums are supplied in light-protected amber glass or in an outer packaging. It should be protected from sunlight and stored at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C. After initial collection, we recommend storing all sera with a pierced ampoule in the refrigerator. Serum in breakable ampoules should be used up completely after opening.

How long does the serum keep after opening?

If unopened, you can find the expiry date on the packaging. As a rule, a sterile serum can be kept unopened for two years. Once opened, the broken ampullae must be used up completely. Pierceable ampoules with a resealable septum are stable for a long time after sterile removal without any changes, ie the best-before date does not change.
