Important: “female/female” describes both ends of the adapter. The two counterparts must therefore have compatible male Luer or Luer-Lock fittings.

What is the Combifix® Adapter used for?

B. Braun specifies the adapter for infusion therapy and for joining Luer fittings that cannot be connected directly without an adapter. In professional workflows, it can be used to establish a connection between two compatible syringes, for example.

If the adapter is to be used within a specific transfer or mixing protocol, qualified users must verify the suitability of all components and of the procedure against the product labelling and the applicable protocol.
