What is the adapter used for?

Two syringes normally each have a male Luer/Luer-lock fitting and therefore cannot be screwed directly together. The female/female Combifix® adapter provides the appropriate connection. This allows compatible components to be coupled directly within a defined professional workflow.

Screw on both sides: Position the fittings straight on the adapter without tilting them.

Screw-locked connection: Secure both sides in accordance with the instructions for use and check them before use.

Check compatibilityUse only suitable Luer-lock components and inspect the packaging and product beforehand.
Connect straightPlace both male fittings straight onto the adapter one after the other and screw them on in accordance with the instructions for use. Do not tilt or overtighten.
Check the connectionBefore use, check that both sides are firmly seated. Then follow the instructions for use for all components and the intended professional protocol.
Important: Single-use product – do not reuse or resterilise. Use only if the individual packaging is undamaged and the expiry date has not passed. Work aseptically; observe the manufacturer’s labelling and instructions for use.
