Centrifuge Hettich EBA 270
Hettich EBA 270 is a small centrifuge with swing-out rotor, which is especially suitable for medical practices. Centrifuge conventional laboratory tubes to 15 ml at a maximum speed of 4,000 rpm. This corresponds to an RCF of 2254. Due to their 90° rotating rotor, they are particularly suitable for centrifuging laboratory tubes with separating gel.

BEST SEPARATION RESULTS IN THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE
Compact performance with built-in versatility for convenient centrifugation. The EBA 270 is a compact clinical centrifuge that offers performance and safety for small sample volumes. The EBA 270 features a built-in, versatile 6-place rotor with swing-out rotor and an adjustable LCD display for convenient and fast operation.
High performance for fast processing of time-critical samples. Achieve consistent platelet counts for platelet-poor plasma (PPP) in just minutes.
Visual and audible notification at the end of the cycle for a productive workflow. Customizable and independent control of visual and/or audible alarms can be set for end of cycle notification. This indicates throughout the room that your device is ready for the next operation.

Features and advantages of Hettich EBA 270
In the swing-out rotor, sedimentation takes place in the direction of the vessel axis so that the components form horizontal layers of uniform thickness. A horizontally formed gel layer has the advantage that it not only reliably separates the plasma/serum from the solid blood components, but also ensures that this separation is maintained during transport of the sample tube from the doctor's office to the analysis laboratory.

This device is a medical device (laboratory centrifuge) in the sense of the IVD Directive
The centrifuge is used to separate substances or mixtures of substances with a density of max. 1.2 kg/dm³,
in particular samples for preparation for in-vitro diagnostics in human medicine.
This includes in particular the determination of potassium in blood serum. The running behavior ensures gentle separation and
prevents the accumulation of additional erythrocyte potassium in the serum. This prevents falsification of the
test results is thus prevented.
The centrifuge is intended for this use only.
