What is BB-GLOW treatment?

BB Glow treatment is limited to the upper layers of the epidermis and involves the application of an emulsion consisting of a skin-colored pigment combined with a light moisturizing or vitamin complex, often containing high-molecular hyaluronic acid. Injected into the uppermost layers of the epidermis, the emulsion hydrates the skin, providing a more radiant complexion and even skin tone.
How is the BB-GLOW treatment performed?
Preparation for BB-Glow treatment
It is not necessary for the patient to prepare or undergo a restrictive regimen prior to BB-Glow treatment. However, prior to the treatment, there should be a written confirmation that the patient has no intolerances to the components of the product. If this is not possible, an allergy test must be performed at least one day before the treatment. After deep peeling, it is recommended to perform the treatment only after a break of two weeks.
The patient is placed on the couch and the hair is put under a cap. The face is then cleansed of makeup and dirt. A light superficial enzymatic peeling with fruit acids can also be performed. The skin is then disinfected with an antiseptic solution and dried before the serum is applied.
Toning
The toning emulsion is applied to the entire face with a cosmetic brush. The Dermapen device is used to spread the product in the direction of the massage lines. As a result, the treatment can be performed even in the conditions included in the traditional list of contraindications for injection methods with exposure of deeper skin layers (pregnancy and lactation, coagulopathy, decompensated diabetes, cardiac, respiratory, renal failure). However, the use of BB Glow in excessively dry or oily skin should be weighed individually, as the treatment may aggravate the problem.

2. A dramatic brightening effect after a BB Glow treatment is only observed with a correspondingly dark skin color - phototypes IV-VI.
