PROFHILO® H+L – hyaluronic acid for professional bio-remodelling
PROFHILO® H+L combines high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid at a concentration of 64 mg per 2 ml. The stabilised Hybrid Cooperative Complexes are created using the patented NAHYCO® Hybrid Technology – without BDDE as a chemical cross-linking agent.
The product is intended for professional aesthetic-medical use. Its concept focuses on bio-remodelling of tissue and skin quality rather than the classic, localised volume augmentation of a dermal filler.

What is PROFHILO® H+L?
PROFHILO® H+L is a sterile hyaluronic-acid medical device from IBSA. The formulation contains 32 mg high-molecular-weight and 32 mg low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid in a 2 ml prefilled syringe.
Unlike classic chemically cross-linked hyaluronic-acid fillers, stabilisation is achieved by a patented thermal manufacturing process. The two hyaluronic-acid fractions are combined into stabilised Hybrid Cooperative Complexes. BDDE is not used for this process.
Thermally stabilised – without BDDE
NAHYCO® Hybrid Technology combines high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid through a controlled thermal process.
Which areas is PROFHILO® intended for?
IBSA Germany lists the face, neck, décolleté and hands among the indications for PROFHILO® H+L. Suitability in an individual case depends on the current instructions for use, the clinical assessment and the professional decision of the qualified practitioner.
