PROFHILO® is a product line from IBSA Derma. At its core is NAHYCO® Hybrid Technology, developed by IBSA, in which hyaluronic acid with different molecular weights is processed through a controlled thermal process to form cooperative hybrid complexes. The name PROFHILO® is often associated directly with PROFHILO® H+L. For correct classification, however, it is important to note that PROFHILO® now refers to a product family. Within this line, IBSA Derma develops different concepts for different areas of professional use.

In 2015, IBSA patented a thermal manufacturing process that combines high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. This produces so-called cooperative hybrid complexes.
