The appropriate centrifuge settings always depend on the centrifuge, rotor, radius, adapters/inserts and your internal SOP. Many practices are guided by an RCF specification (g) because RPM varies depending on the device.

Important notes for clean working:
- After blood collection, carefully invert the tube 7 times to mix blood and sodium citrate evenly.
- When withdrawing PRP, do not insert the needle into the separating gel and do not disturb the gel barrier.
- Plan processing promptly: in practice, it is often recommended to use PRP within 4 hours after centrifugation.
- Single-use product: do not reuse and do not re-sterilize.

Centrifugation settings depend on the centrifuge, rotor, rotor radius and (if applicable) adapters/inserts. Whenever possible, work with RCF (g) rather than RPM only, as RPM can vary depending on the device and radius.
