Chemical peeling against acne, oily skin, comedones and acne scars.

DERMIDA® Matrixpeel™ is a chemical acid complex with azelaic acid (14%) and salicylic acid (2%) to reverse acne, oily skin, blackheads, whiteheads and acne scars. Gently removes dead cells, regulates the oil content of the skin, minimizes enlarged pores and evens out different skin tones.

Due to its viscous composition and a pH of 3.0 to 3.5, it is ideal for application with a puncture pen in combination with a nano-needle head. For this purpose, the sterile and pharmaceutically pure peeling is previously applied with a brush for treatment and then topically applied directly to the skin with the Dermapen and a nano-needle head.

In this way, the effectiveness of lactic acid peeling can be significantly increased. It can be used both as a stand-alone treatment and as a pre-treatment for cosmetic or medical microneedling. Of course, simple application with a brush is also possible without the additional penetration effect of the NeedlingPen.

Lactic acid peeling

One package contains 5 sterile ampoules with a piercing septum. One ampoule is enough for one treatment. For the first withdrawal, a sterile withdrawal syringe with cannula is supplied free of charge.

The effect: Anti Acne Peel

Azelaic acid has antibacterial properties, removes dead skin cells, cleanses the skin surface and brightens the skin. It is a powerful antioxidant. Perfect for treating active acne and remaining acne scars. Salicylic acid has a keratolytic, antiseptic and bacteriostatic effect. It neutralizes the skin and normalizes the oil content.

The acid effectively dissolves comedones, regulates sebum production, exfoliates and cleanses the skin surface and minimizes enlarged pores.

Matrixpeel™: next generation anti-acne peeling

Matrixpeel™ is a patented, multi-step treatment system developed by DERMIDA® to improve the efficacy, safety and application options of chemical or fruit acid peels, which means that a wide range of skin conditions can be treated.

Unlike conventional peels, Matrixpeel™ is performed in an upstream step called nanopeeling (light microdermabrasion) to loosen the cornification, adjust the skin texture and increase the peeling work more evenly renewal can be activated much more than with conventional methods.

APPLICATION TIPS

CLEANSING

Gently but thoroughly cleanses the skin to remove makeup residue and other cosmetic products.

DEGREASING

Now use a special pre-peel degreasing solution to remove excess oil (sebum) and sebum. You can use a cotton pad to spread it evenly.

NANOPEELING

Before the fruit acid peel, perform a nanopeeel with your NeedlingPen. To do this, use a nano-needling head and set the device to the highest speed setting. Instead of circular movements, move linearly twice over each area of skin, which evens out the texture of the skin and eliminates bumps, calluses and flaky skin, making the subsequent peel more homogeneous.

ANTI-ACNE PEELING

Next, the anti-acne cell renewal peeling and treatment of indications. To do this, cover the eyes with a pad and protect sensitive areas with petroleum jelly. Draw up glycolic acid with the extraction syringe provided, remove the cannula. Now take up the peeling very quickly with the fan brush or mask. Depending on the desired effect, leave on for between 3 and 10 minutes.

To enhance the effect of the peeling and improve its penetration, we now work with the nanoneedle head and circular movements.

NEUTRALIZATION

Wipe off excess fruit acid with a cotton pad. Then use the post-peel solution and apply it. It stops the peeling process and restores the natural pH of the skin. Now leave on for 1 to 4 minutes and then remove with clear water.

BOOSTER (OPTIONAL)

After that, sterile and gentle ampoules can be used, which serve the purpose of the treatment. This step should be skipped for sensitive skin or deep peels.

AFTERCARE

Apply a soothing, anti-inflammatory after-treatment that helps calm the skin. A cream or mask with aloe vera is especially recommended.

SUN PROTECTION

Very important! The peeling effect temporarily reduces the horny layer and the protective function of the skin, increasing its sensitivity to light.

Especially with regular use of a fruit acid or chemical peel, direct UV radiation from sunlight should be avoided. Creams or serums with sun protection factor 50 are mandatory, also in the days after the treatment.
